1. All players must have a valid player number to be eligible for all JPA Tournaments. If you don't have a player number, you can still play but won't be eligible for points for the Citywide Tournament.
2. Players will receive points based on their finish each night at each location. These points will accumulate at each location & citywide.
3. To get points, players must sign in on the sign-in sheet with their Player Number & be at the final table in the top eight. Players who don't sign in with their Player Number will not get points.
4. Points are awarded depending on how many players are beaten, for example if you beat 20 players, you get 20 points. 1st place gets a bonus of 50 points & 2nd place gets a bonus of 20 points so if 1st place beats 20 players you get 20 + 50 = 70 points. Players who end up 3rd thru 8th place only get points for the amount of players they beat.
5. The JPA Citywide Tournament will be held only at participating JPA locations. The top point getter at each location will earn a spot at the Finals.
6. The 40 players who accumulate the most points citywide will also be in the Finals. Absolutely NO SUBSTITUTIONS are allowed for players unable to attend Finals.
7. The rules played are the same at all JPA tournaments, any cheating or suspected cheating will be dealt with severely & immediately, with disqualification & banishment from future play at this and all events.
8. The tournament Finals are held at different participating locations where players compete for Prizes!
9. Players must be a minimum age of 18 years old. Many locations require players to be 21 years old. Call the location for info. Click on 'Rules' for full list of all restrictions & rules of the game
10. Players in 2nd place thru 6th place from each participating location will have a 2nd Chance Finals. The 2nd Chance Finals will be in Shoot-Out format with one remaining player from each table going to the finals!
11. Any ties will be broken with the person who has the most 1st place finishes, if those are the same then the most 2nd place finishes will be given the higher ranking. If all the placings are the same including Hi Hands & Consolation tables, both players will be eligible.
12. The Player with the most points Citywide will get a bonus of $150, 2nd Place in the city will get $100 & 3rd Place will receive A $50 Certificate to the Poker Room.
13. All Prize money will be supplied through Player Donations for each 13 week tournament.. If not enough money is collected through donations to payout 1st & 2nd Place, JPA will make up the difference. In a case such as stated the 6 runners-up will receive nominal prizes. 2nd through 8th Place at the Finals will receive proportionately less than 2nd Place receives, with 8th Place receiving the least. If the amount of donations exceed $6,000, 9th place thru 12th place will be eligible for prizes. If donations exceed $6,000, 1st place & 2nd place prizes will be increased by 10% & continue to increase by 10% for every $1,000 in donations over $6,000. If required, JPA will payout 13th place & beyond depending on the amount of donations collected until all donation money is paid out. Left over donations under $50 will be rolled over to the next tournament.
14. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO SPLITTING or CHOPPING of Prizes by JPA at the Finals!
